This year, we’re proud to be supporting Unmasked Mental Health in their 250 for £250 campaign – a powerful initiative responding to a devastating reality. In 2024 alone, over 250 adults lost their lives to suicide. To raise awareness and much-needed funds, Unmasked is calling on 250 individuals and businesses to each raise £250, helping the charity continue its vital work.

We’ve accepted the challenge. Our team has pledged to raise a minimum of £250 to help Unmasked Mental Health provide life-changing counselling, support services, and education across our region.

About Unmasked Mental Health
Unmasked Mental Health offers a safe, regulated space for people experiencing mental health challenges. Through local Hubs, the charity provides access to professional counselling, peer support, and specialist training. They also work with employers to raise awareness and improve mental health provision in the workplace.

As a social prescribing partner with NHS England, Unmasked enables GPs to directly refer patients in need of additional mental health support, offering an essential lifeline to many.

Are we up to the challenge?
Of course we are! When Unmasked first got in touch, we were shocked to learn that our region has one of the highest suicide rates in the UK. That fact alone made this feel like a campaign we couldn’t ignore.

We’re already planning a packed calendar of baking competitions, games, and team fundraising events aimed at raising money and awareness for this crucial cause. We’ll be sharing our progress through our monthly newsletter and on LinkedIn, so keep an eye out!

If you’d like to support us and help make a difference, we’d be incredibly grateful. You can donate to our fundraising page here.
