One-to-one support will be provided by the Xcellerator team, and sessions will be running to cover business planning, finance and marketing.

Weds 22 May – online session 1
In the first of our online sessions, weโll discuss the importance of your brand, explaining how to establish yours, how to craft the perfect messaging to create meaningful connections with your target audience and differentiate yourself from your competitors.
We understand for many of our participants that this may be your first foray into marketing, so weโll also discuss the main tactics that we think youโll benefit from the most.
Following the session, youโll have a greater understanding of how your brand can relate to your stakeholders and how best to communicate with them. This will help you translate your purpose and demonstrate to your customers why they should support your business.
Wednesday 29th May – online session 2
In this practical session, weโll be explaining how to set up social media pages for your business and advising on the frequency and content of your posts. If you have a website or are looking to build one, youโll need a basic understanding of website content management systems, so weโll take you through that too.
In addition, youโll learn how to analyse your performance using tools such as Google Analytics or platforms such as Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, etc. Once again, highlighting marketing tactics that we think will work well for your business, and this will include an introduction to paid search.
At the end of this session, participants will feel confident that theyโre armed with tools and tactics to positively impact their business. A key factor in succeeding online is good quality content, so weโll take you through the best way to research appropriate keywords and terms, turning that into a strategy for producing regular content.
We wonโt just touch on digital methods, weโll talk through direct mail, advertising and PR too.
Wednesday 5th June – in person session 3
In this final session, attendees will take their learning from the previous two workshops and put together their own marketing strategy, with our support, of course!
Throughout the session, you will benefit from one-to-one support, having the opportunity to ask questions and get advice from our team, who boast decades of experience working with some of the biggest brands in the UK. Youโll benefit from having a personalised strategy that has been tailored to your business, and leave you feeling confident to implement it.
Following our sessions, there will also be finance sessions diving into pricing, the practicalities of cash flow, funding opportunities and objectives, spread over three sessions on the 20th and 27th June, and Thursday 11th July.
