Catherine Smith Nutrition is a newly launched business, led by Catherine Smith, a recently trained nutritional therapist with a passion for supporting women and busy parents. Her aim is to empower families to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing, navigating the complexities of nutrition in a way that is accessible and practical.Â
With a focus on using food as a medicine, Catherine aims to provide her clients with the tools they need to achieve healthier lifestyles.
As a newly launched business, Catherine wanted a professional yet approachable identity that would resonate with her target audience of busy parents. She wanted her brand to convey both expertise and warmth, with a luxurious feel that reflects the quality of her services.Â
The challenge was to create a visual identity that balanced sophistication with friendliness, ensuring that her brand stood out in the competitive wellness space while remaining relatable and inviting to her clients.
Creating a new identity
To visually communicate Catherine’s mission, we carefully selected a calming colour palette that evokes a sense of peace and reassurance, mirroring the confidence that comes with taking control of your health.Â
A subtle shade of green was chosen as the primary colour to symbolise growth, vitality, and wellbeing, harnessing the universal association of green with health and nature.
To elevate the brand and reflect the high-quality service that Catherine offers, we incorporated metallic foil accents, adding a luxurious touch that reinforces the premium feel of her nutritional guidance.
We further enhanced the brand’s visual identity by introducing a gradient, representing the seamless connection between nurturing the body and mind.
This gradient serves as a visual metaphor for balance and harmony, key pillars in wellness practice. It subtly transitions through soft tones, symbolising the holistic journey towards better health, where small, thoughtful changes lead to lasting transformation.
Launching the brand
Once the brand identity was established, we applied it to launch materials to ensure Catherine’s business had a strong and cohesive presence across all touchpoints.
We designed luxurious business cards that embodied the essence of the brand, using premium materials and incorporating foil accents to give a professional and elegant finish.Â
These cards not only made a lasting impression but also reflected the high level of care and expertise that Catherine provides to her clients.
We created social media mockups and recipe cards to to demonstrate how the brand’s identity would translate across digital platforms.Â
By curating visually appealing posts and materials, we showed Catherine how her new identity would maintain its luxurious and approachable feel while resonating with her target audience online.
These mockups gave Catherine a clear vision of how her brand could create an impactful and consistent presence, engaging with her audience in a meaningful way from the beginning.Â
