Boxing up a brand…
Sheard Packaging are one of the UK’s biggest independent packaging manufacturers, providing sustainable packaging solutions for 3 generations. Based in Halifax, they design, manufacture, manage and deliver all of their products.
Ready for a refresh, we redesigned their entire look and feel, rolling it out across their whole estate, including the development of a brand new website, stationery, livery, wayfinding and signage.
New brand
The team at Sheard were ready to have a brand that truly aligned with their mission, and vision, whilst representing the continuous investment in their business.
We wanted to create a brand that would help them stand out from other packaging solutions providers.
Taking the colour palette from their original logo, we created a new, modern style with a memorable packaging icon that could be easily applied across multiple touchpoints.
Business-wide adoption
Once the brand had been modernised, it was ready for a business-wide rollout. Completely embraced by the entire business, the new brand is now visible across multiple factory units, internal and external signage, machinery, livery, stationery and corporate wear. The team wear their brand with pride. Most recently, it has been rolled out on a 40 foot Mobile Innovation Centre which visits customers on location at their own sites.
This new corporate identity not only represents the next phase of growth for Sheard, but also shows how far the business has come. Steeped in history, it was first founded in 1860 and boasts 5 generations of experience within the packaging industry. Driven by their focus on innovation and development, work is ongoing to establish the business as a B Corp.
Launching a new website
A website is often the first impression that a visitor may have about your business, so it was important that the new brand was reflected online as well as offline. We developed a brand new website that embraced the new colour palette and styling, enhancing the look and feel of the brand.
We took the old-style outdated website and replaced it with a modern site that is easy to navigate and showcases their dedication to innovation, sustainability and beautifully designed packaging solutions.
