Feel snug and smug…
The Browndog team researched the competition to get an idea of market leaders and found very little innovative designs or brands that would be attractive to a younger audience. After brainstorming and presenting a range of different names for the heated blankets, ‘Intelligent Warmth’ was chosen.
The name was in reference to the clever features of the product, including multi-heat settings, timer, personalised climate areas and extra foot warmth.
From a sketch to the shelves
We created a number of sketches for both the identity and how we could best implement graphic devices across the packaging designs.
Taking inspiration from technology brands, we introduced vivid colours, simple sans serif typography and clear icons to communicate Intelligent Warmth’s various unique selling points.
Browndog created a really strong packaging identity for our Intelligent Warmth Heated Topper range using high tech icons and design elements to deliver impressive stand out on-shelf

The final design includes a beautiful graphic shape that represents the movement of heat through the blankets, and when stacked together creates a bold, repeated pattern that stands out on the shelves.
