Swan Energy is a market leading provider of carbon reporting services. Their primary focus is to support businesses on their journey to be more carbon conscious, by helping them to navigate and comply with energy legislation.
They offer services from UK Emissions Trading Scheme consultancy, SECR and ESIS compliance, to supporting organisations to be fully compliant with heat network regulations and offering expertise and guidance on Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).Â
Working together to achieve a refresh brand that was clear and concise, suitable for placement across all communication platforms. Once a new look and feel was established, this was to be rolled out across a new website and a variety of marketing materials.
When it came time to review the Swan Energy brand, the team tasked us with a refresh, to include their overall look and feel, updating their website and marketing materials to reflect their new positioning.Â
Bringing clarity to the brand
We were fortunate to be invited on the company away day in Manchester, which allowed us to explore the qualities that helped Swan Energy stand out from the rest.Â
What we found was that the overwhelming response was that it was the knowledge and expertise of the people in the business that made the difference, so we know that any new identity needed to recognise this and showcase the team.Â
Beginning with the iconic swan logo, we modernised it to make it more friendly, simplified the silhouette to work at smaller sizes for digital applications, and created a brighter colour palette to emphasise the fresh new style.Â
Showcasing expertise
An essential part of our new positioning strategy was to share more of the team, showcasing their expertise and bringing an air of friendliness and professionalism.
We began by setting up a photoshoot to produce a suite of images that could be used to bring the new marketing materials to life.Â
We created professional and dynamic images that would easily translate across print and digital platforms, ready to transform the website and key collateral.
Marketing collateral
We rolled out the new brand across a variety of collateral to support the team and present a consistent image to new and existing customers. We put together bright and engaging business cards, letterhead, email signatures, leaflets and flyers.Â
We furnished the team with everything they needed to present the new brand across social media, from banners, to icons, and specially sized versions of the new logo.
Launching a new website
Once the rebrand was complete, set with new colours, logos and assets, we brought all of these new elements together to create a fresh, welcoming website that put the team front and centre. By highlighting the expertise and friendly faces of the team, we were able to actively encourage customers to get in touch.Â
Developed in the world leading platform, WordPress, we were able to provide the team with a site that could be easily updated, was inherently SEO friendly and would scale with their business.Â
